John Foxx - Radio Sessions

This collection came about as the result of a thread I started on the John Foxx forum on www.metamatic.com about rare John Foxx recordings. At some point during the thread the subject of John Foxx's Radio 1 sessions was raised. It transpired that Foxx had recorded no fewer than four radio sessions for Radio 1 between 1983 and 1985. It was decided to gather all these sessions together into one collection and distribute it amongst metamatic.com regulars.This download consists of those sessions tracks, plus some other radio interviews and a few rare Foxx tracks.

Tym razem John Foxx z sesji radiowych, na których przedstawione są często utwory zagrane w taki sposób, ze na oficjalnie znanych albumach ich nie znajdziesz. Tu niesamowicie rozbroił mnie utwór z wczesnych lat grupy Ultravox! - Hiroshima Mon Amour - dla mnie rewelacyjne wykonanie tej piosenki!
Wielkie podziękowania należą się tutaj mr. Haroldowi Halloway, który umiescił te rarytasy na torrencie. Samo sciąganie przez torrent zajęło mi około 12 - 14 godzin (!) ze względu na małą liczbę osób, które się tym dzieliły.... mam nadzieję, że przez rapidshare pójdzie to troszkę szybciej - naprawdę warto, a same utwory, przeplatane komentarzami samego Johna Foxxa przenoszą nas w lata osiemdziesiąte.
